About Monetisation & Finance

Monetisation & Finance is ISP billing and partner settlement software in five modules. Finance heads, billing teams and partner-channel managers use it to run plans and invoices, pay commission through the partner network, follow up overdue accounts and reward loyal customers. It works from one billing record rather than from copies passed between systems.

i2i CRM is the core: plan catalogue, customer and service accounts, prepaid and postpaid billing, GST e-invoicing, payments, deposits and partner wallets. i2i Partner Settlement calculates commission for distributors, sub-distributors and LCOs from the same transaction that bills the customer. i2i Collections holds the dunning rules and the overdue worklists, and i2i Promotions adds loyalty, referral and partner reward policies with ROI dashboards.

i2i Finance is different in maturity. It is a double-entry ledger service designed to be fed by billing events, and it is offered as a pilot, not a finished finance module. It posts balanced journals and reconciles ledger receivables to billing, but it does not replace an accounting package.

Better together

How the Monetisation & Finance modules work together

  1. Bill and reward in one engine

i2i CRM bills prepaid and postpaid plans and issues invoices and credit notes. i2i Promotions works with billing on bill generation and prepaid renewal, and applies its rewards as discounts, extra validity, credit notes or partner wallet credit.

  2. Settle partners from the same transaction

When a customer registers or renews, i2i Partner Settlement works out the commission for the selling partner and its direct parent, books it to their wallets and records the ISP's share. Payments are matched to outstanding items oldest first.

  3. Chase what is overdue

i2i Collections rules act on service expiry, payment due dates and overdue invoices, sending reminders, suspending service or raising tasks. Cases close automatically when the invoices are settled, and staff record payments from the worklists.

  4. Feed the ledger on a pilot basis

i2i Finance accepts billing events for invoices issued, payments received and credit notes issued, posts them as journals and reports whether ledger receivables agree with net open billing receivables. Treat this step as a pilot.

FAQ

Monetisation & Finance: frequently asked questions

Does the suite support prepaid and postpaid billing?

Yes. i2i CRM handles prepaid plans with proforma invoices, vouchers and auto-renewal, and postpaid billing by billing area with advance or arrears charges and proration. Calendar-month, anniversary and anniversary hybrid billing cycles are available, and a bill run can be previewed and rolled back.

How many partner levels can commission cover?

Three: distributor, sub-distributor and LCO, with a parent for each partner. Commission is worked out for the selling partner and its direct parent, and the ISP's own share is recorded on the same transaction. The level names are data, so an ISP can rename them.

Is i2i Finance a full accounting system?

No. It is an early build that posts double-entry journals, keeps a chart of accounts and a trial balance and runs one reconciliation to billing receivables. Statutory books, tax filing and period-end work are outside what it does now, so we offer it as a pilot for teams testing the design.

What tax handling is built in?

Taxes, tax groups and a tax zone per account are configurable. The handling is built around Indian GST, with CGST, SGST and IGST, GSTIN and state checks and e-invoice generation through ClearTax or WebTel adaptors. GST invoice, cancellation and partner-wise reports can be exported.

Can we control when i2i Collections suspends a customer?

Yes. A rule can carry a barring window, so suspension waits for allowed days and times. Exclusions at customer or partner level keep sensitive accounts out of a run, with a reason recorded, and preview, impact and coverage checks show what a rule will do before it runs.

Can partners see any of this?

Partners see what concerns them in the partner portal. That includes wallet balances, commission details and transactions, read-only dunning cases for their own customers and a read-only loyalty dashboard. Monthly partner statements are generated by finance staff in the admin portal as PDFs.
