Overview
i2i Promotions is the offers and loyalty engine of the billing platform, with spend controls, review and ROI dashboards to manage each scheme. An operator creates a promotion policy from a template, such as renew a number of times and unlock a reward, sets who is eligible and what the reward is, and the platform enrols customers, tracks their progress and applies the reward when they qualify.
Policies cover four categories: prepaid, postpaid, partner and event. Rewards include flat and percentage discounts, extra validity, free billing cycles, wallet credit for partners, credit notes for referrers and time-bounded speed upgrades. Caps limit the payout per customer and the number of discount cycles, and ROI dashboards show what each scheme cost and what it returned.
What is a loyalty engine for an ISP?
A loyalty engine rewards behaviour that an operator wants more of: renewing on time, staying active, bringing a friend or reaching a revenue target. Instead of giving discounts by hand, the operator states the rule once. The engine then watches accounts, counts qualifying events and issues the reward when the customer or partner meets the condition.
Three parts make up such an engine. Eligibility says who can join, for example by plan, partner, customer segment or date window. Progress tracking counts renewals, bills or revenue for each enrolled account. Rewards are the outcome, such as a discount on the next invoice, extra days of validity, a credit note or a wallet credit. Limits on payouts stop a scheme from paying more than intended.
Operators also need to know whether a scheme paid for itself, so reporting on reward cost, enrolments and conversion matters. i2i Promotions provides these parts for customers and for partners, on top of the billing and wallet records the platform already keeps.

Use cases
Where i2i Promotions is used
Reward loyal prepaid customers
A prepaid ISP wants customers to renew steadily. It creates a policy that unlocks a discount, extra validity or a speed upgrade after a set number of renewals. Customers are enrolled, their count is tracked, and the reward is applied when they qualify.
Referral scheme with a credit note
An operator asks subscribers to refer friends. When a referred customer reaches the required number of bills, the referrer receives a credit note. The referral ROI view shows conversion, reward cost, the monthly trend and the top referrers.
Partner loyalty for LCOs
An ISP wants to keep active LCOs. Partner policies credit a partner's wallet for customers who stay continuously active, for a number of successful renewals or when revenue reaches a milestone. Partners follow qualification and monthly earnings on a read-only dashboard.
Limiting what a scheme can pay
A postpaid discount could cost more than planned if it ran without limit. The operator sets a cap on payouts per customer and a maximum number of discount cycles, so each enrolled customer reaches a known limit.
FAQ
i2i Promotions: frequently asked questions
Can I limit how much a promotion pays out?
Yes. A policy can cap the payouts each customer receives and the number of discount cycles, and rewards can be one-time or recurring. Use the ROI views to watch total reward cost, and ask i2iCore about controls for a whole scheme.
Can I see who is enrolled and how they are progressing?
Yes. Enrolments can be searched and viewed, and each customer's progress is tracked against the policy. Each policy also keeps an event log, and creating or changing a policy is written to the platform audit log.
What happens to current enrolments if I edit a policy?
Existing enrolments do not change. An edit applies to the policy going forward. If you need different terms for people already enrolled, plan for that before editing, and check the enrolment list afterwards.
Can partners see promotions?
Yes, in a read-only way. The partner portal has a loyalty dashboard that shows qualification progress, reward policies and monthly earnings. Policies themselves are created by operator staff who hold the right permission. Ask i2iCore about customer-facing views.
Can I try a promotion before launching it?
A proforma preview shows which promotions apply to a single customer's renewal. Test a new policy on a small filter, such as one plan or partner, before you widen it to more customers.
Does it enrol eligible customers automatically?
Scheduled jobs enrol partner customers and run long-cycle progress, wallet rewards and revenue milestones. Whether they are switched on depends on the deployment, so confirm it with i2iCore when you plan a scheme.
