About Customers & Partners

Customers & Partners is customer self-care and partner portal software: the two front doors to your billing system. Subscribers use one to renew, pay and ask for help without phoning. Distributors, sub-distributors and LCOs use the other to run their side of the business. Both are aimed at operators who want fewer manual requests reaching the back office.

i2i Customer Portal & App is the subscriber front end. Customers sign in with a password or a mobile OTP, renew or change a plan, pay through the operator's gateways, download invoices, check usage and raise service requests. i2i Partner Portal follows the operator's admin portal, so partners create customers, renew plans, top up their wallets, transfer balance to sub-partners and review commission.

Neither portal holds data of its own. Customer accounts, plans, invoices and wallets live in i2i CRM, which sits in the Monetisation & Finance suite, and both portals call those services. The operator decides which menus each customer or partner user can see, so a screen appears only when it has been enabled.

What you get done

A self-care portal for subscribers and a working portal for distributors, sub-distributors and LCOs.

  • Self-care: renew, change plan, pay and download invoices
  • Partner portal to onboard, renew, top up wallets and track commission
  • Both portals draw on the same i2i CRM records

Better together

How the Customers & Partners modules work together

  1. Work from the same account record

The customer portal, the partner portal and the operator's admin portal all read the customer's account in i2i CRM. A renewal made in any of them shows in the plan history and transactions of the others.

  2. Let the subscriber self-serve

A prepaid customer renews or changes plan and pays through the operator's gateway, or opens a payment link without signing in. A postpaid customer downloads invoices and credit notes and pays what is outstanding online.

  3. Let the partner run the customer

An LCO creates a customer with Aadhaar eKYC, tops up its wallet through a configured gateway and renews many customers in bulk, immediately or on a schedule. Every movement appears in the transactions search.

  4. Follow support and earnings

Customers raise service requests and follow comments and workflow history. Partner staff handle customer tickets with SLA timers and escalation, and partners also see read-only dunning cases and loyalty dashboards for their own customers.

FAQ

Customers & Partners: frequently asked questions

Does the customer portal have its own database?

No. It has no data of its own and calls the same billing, core, ticketing and device services the operator's staff use. That keeps the customer's plan history, invoices and payments in one place, and the operator switches individual portal modules on or off.

Is there a mobile app for subscribers?

The web portal is the current product. A mobile app exists only as a build made for one operator, so an app for your own subscribers would need scoping with us. Partners have a separate mobile application for creating customers, renewing plans and topping up wallets.

Which payment gateways can customers and partners use?

Payment goes through the gateways the operator has configured, and the portals support several, including Razorpay, Paytm and Cashfree, with public payment-link pages that need no sign-in. The gateway list is set per organisation on the billing side, not chosen by the customer.

Are all partner portal screens finished?

No. Customer accounts, customer 360, bulk renewal, wallet top-up, balance transfer, commission details, tickets and staff roles are working. Some screens, such as Partner Hierarchy, Partner Profile and Payout Management, are not yet built and show as under development, so confirm the scope you need with us.

Can a partner see other partners' customers?

No. Partner users work with their own customers, and the backend scopes the data that way by design. A distributor can open the 360 view of its own sub-partners, and menus and actions for partner staff follow the permissions granted to each user.

Can we rename Partner in the interface?

Yes. A system parameter renames the word Partner to Franchise or LCO across the partner portal. The partner levels themselves, distributor, sub-distributor and LCO, are also labels held as data, so the wording can match the way your channel already talks.
